A November Wedding That Felt Like Summer

Sam and Adam have got to be the luckiest fall wedding couple. Having a November wedding usually means shrugs, uggs, scarves, and coats but not this year! This November wedding felt like summer with 20 degree weather, sunshine and fall colours. It doesn't get luckier than that!

As Toronto wedding photographers, we are used to adapting to all sorts of variables but this wedding was every wedding photographers dream! As with many weddings, we started the day with photographing the groom and groomsmen getting ready at The Courtyard Marriott Hotel. The groomsmen looked fabulous wearing suits from Moores and check out those SOCKS!

Sam and her bridesmaids got ready in the same hotel. This makes it so much easier as there is no travel required and more time can be spent photographing. Sam wore a stunning Morilee wedding gown from Sophie's Bridal in Mississauga. The bouquet was the perfect blend of rich fall colours and created by the fabulous Creative Petals by Chris. The ceremony and reception all took place at the Ancaster Mill. This venue is one of our favourites, located in Ancaster near Hamilton. The Ancaster Mill has a stunning indoor chapel that lets in a glorious amount of natural light, water fall, green space and the best gourmet cuisine!

Sam and Adam had a later ceremony at the Ancaster Mill followed closely by the reception. As such, we all decided that a first looks was a great idea to allow for a more relaxed day with lots of photo time. We did the first look at the Marriott with the full wedding party and then headed out to Ancaster Mill for more romantic photos. It was one of the best November weddings we have done. So much love and joy and even though maybe smaller than originally planned, it didn't stop these two from having a stunning wedding.

Congratulations Sam and Adam! Can't wait to photograph your wedding part 2 next year!
